Our story

Hi! I’m Katheryn, the owner and creative behind Netta. My love of flowers began as a young girl, when for every birthday and anniversary in our family, my Nana would send a floral arrangement to us. I experienced firsthand the transformative power that fresh flowers have on a space - and as I got older, I realized how much of a ‘luxury’ flowers are.

As a young adult, I couldn’t always afford to have fresh flowers in my home; although, I often stopped in the store to consider buying some. When I got married in 2018, I chose to DIY our wedding flowers due to the cost and that is where my floral design journey began.

In 2021, I began dreaming of starting my own studio to make locally grown flowers more accessible, specifically for weddings and events… and so I did!

Netta is a floral design studio that proudly sources all blooms and botanicals from local and ethical growers. We utilize eco-conscious practices in our designs, ensuring all creations are as responsible as they are beautiful. We are passionate about applying and teaching sustainable practices, and departing from traditional styles.

Today, I am a stay-at-home mom of two little ones and, along with my husband, successfully run the floral studio from our home in NJ.
